Court ruled: Independent Board acted lawfully in Vahid Ćosić's case

(Patria) - The Independent Board of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly announced that the Municipal Court in Sarajevo rendered a first-instance verdict on 06/19/2019 in the case of Vahid Ćosić v. Sarajevo Canton, i.e., the Independent Board, seeking annulment of the decision determining disciplinary responsibility, by which the plaintiff Vahid Ćosić's claim was rejected in its entirety as unfounded, and at the same time confirmed that the Independent Board had made a correct and lawful decision.
We remind the public that at the end of 2016, the Independent Board of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, as the first-instance disciplinary body, conducted disciplinary proceedings based on a disciplinary report from the Security Commission of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly and determined the disciplinary responsibility of former police commissioner Vahid Ćosić for providing inaccurate data that influenced the decisions of the competent authorities.
