Court of BiH confirms indictment against minister Pendeš

The Court of BiH confirmed the indictment against Marina Pendeš, Minister of Defence of BiH, who is charged with dereliction of duty and forgery of an official document during her tenure as Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH, it was confirmed at the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

Minister Pendeš is accused of enabling the payment of salaries and compensation to her advisor Ivo Miro Jović during her tenure as deputy minister, even though he was not present at his workplace.

Pendeš, as stated in the indictment, issued orders to the secretary regarding Jović's alleged presence at work: checks revealed that he did not come to work regularly, yet he received salaries and compensation. In this way, BiH was damaged by approximately 17,000 KM, which was paid to Jović for his engagement as an advisor, it was announced by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, which will prove the allegations by calling eight witnesses and expert witnesses.
