
(Patria) - The Court of BiH yesterday confirmed the indictment of the BiH Prosecutor's Office in case number S1 2 K 050715 24 Ko, in which the accused Osman Mehmedagić is charged with committing the criminal offense of abuse of office or authority under Article 220, Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The accused is charged that in the period from November 2019 to February 27, 2023, i.e., until his dismissal as Director-General of the Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA) of BiH, he performed the said duty although he did not possess the higher education qualification prescribed by law as a condition for performing this function.
By doing so, he abused his official position to enable himself to remain in office and thus maintain official and social influence, and acquired financial gain in the form of salary, for a position for which he did not meet the legally prescribed conditions, it was announced today from the Court of BiH.
In this regard, the indictment charges him with having, through the said unlawful actions, acquired unlawful financial gain for himself in the amount of 293,046.58 KM, thereby damaging the budget of BiH.
