(Patria) - In the capital of Jordan, Amman, a study by academician Esad Duraković was promoted, published in Arabic under the title „Min al-istišrāq 'ilā 'ilm al-Šarq“ (From Orientalism to Orientology). The study was published by the influential Jordanian publisher al-An in cooperation with the Institute for Oriental Studies (Priština).
The well-attended promotion was organized by, in addition to the publisher, the Jordanian Writers' Union and the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Jordan, with the presence of the BiH ambassador Mate Zeko.
This study (390 pages) was promoted by Ismail Abu al-Bandora (the most famous and prolific translator of literature from Bosnian to Arabic), Dr. Salah Jarrar (university professor of literature and former rector of the University of Amman), and Dr. Basim al-Zo'abi (a well-known writer and translator from Russian in the Arab world).
Esad Duraković, in addition to his membership in ANUBiH, is a member of the Academy of Sciences of Syria, the Academy of Sciences in Cairo, and the Jordanian Academy of Sciences.
