Trade unions of budget users in the Una-Sana Canton today expressed their dissatisfaction with debts through protests in Bihać's City Square, writes the BH News Agency Patria.
In this way, they want to warn the cantonal authorities that if their demands are ignored, they are prepared for more radical measures. The protest gathering, they say, is not their goal, but a means by which they are trying to preserve and achieve the rights they have, which are being denied to them.
They are owed compensation in case of death and severance pay from 2012, 2013, and 2014. One of the main demands is that kindergartens be returned to the budget of the USC, because their further functioning is jeopardized by financing through grant funds.
The Secondary Education Union insists on equalizing rights for mothers for all budget users, and the USC Police Union insists on settling debts for jubilee awards.
If the authorities ignore their demands, the budget users' unions are prepared for a general strike, which could happen at the beginning of next year.
