The destruction of production and construction giants (so many that it is literally impossible to list them all by name), many of which kept Yugoslavia competitive in the demanding world markets of the time, has long been underway on a scale that can only be described as mass, systemic and systematic plunder of property that, by a government decision in the nineties, was transferred from social to state ownership and thus (taken) from us for the first time.
I am not entirely sure whether such an undertaking requires exceptional ability or complete incompetence, but I am absolutely convinced that this is the ultimate indicator of the attitude towards the land, the state, and the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina, or one of the fundamental indicators of the nature of politics that has turned a country with unimaginable potential and a certain possibility of being an oasis in the literal and all transferred meanings into an exemplary case of how not to do things.
Even if we adopt some imaginary positivist stance, if there was no salvation for Energoinvest because it was too large and dispersed throughout the former homeland, it is impossible for a healthy mind to explain why companies that produce raw materials that the market literally cannot get enough of (Aluminij), those that currently have their production sold out for the next few years (Granit), and those that have guaranteed buyers and consumers of their products in the country for at least a few more generations (Fabrika duhana Sarajevo) have fallen to their knees, gone bankrupt, and faded into whispers. It is equally incomprehensible from a common-sense perspective that, for example, a pharmaceutical factory simply stops producing the most reliable mild analgesic in a country where more than half of the population has a headache every day, or that a company producing prosthetic aids is shut down (?) in a country that has just emerged from war.
I don't understand economics, I haven't even finished a one-day course, say, in Široki Brijeg, and I've never been good with money, but you don't need to be an economic genius to see that anything mentioned above is inexplicable by economic terminology younger than the end of the 19th century. If you don't have a textbook of brutal capitalism from the late 19th century, then you have nothing left but to try to contextualize all these absurdities within an equally absurd plan for the "creation" of a few rich individuals who, hypothetically, should one day lead the country to prosperity, a plan that failed the moment the plan's creator casually told the fighters, thanks to whom he could even conceive the plan, that they would taste justice only as much as they could secure it once the shooting stopped.
Admittedly, that plan was not entirely without realization: on the mass graves and skeletons of numerous "Krivaja," "Vranica," "Hidrogradnja," "Pretis," "Granit," and "Aluminij," some new "Euro... Štabilo" have sprung up...
Perhaps one needs only a slightly greater ability than for the aforementioned undertaking to conceal and mask for decades that the state serves only as a guarantor, and the Federation repays loans and pays debts for the so-called smaller BiH entity, that the Federation finances the "business-health" adventures of the sons of high-ranking officials of the RS... meaning, that the division ended long ago, but no one informed us. In other words, I am quite sure that the total blame is not, and never was, if at all, on those who exploit the incompetence of Bosniak politicians, for some reason convinced that they are co-owners of power and that they are sharing it. It wasn't that long ago, anyone who tries a little can remember, when he was asked why so many concessions were made to the HDZ: half, and even more than half of the total power in the FBiH, to which he contemptuously replied that the HDZ received nothing that it/they were not entitled to. Then, some time later, he changed his mind and retreated, saying that it was enough that those who received nothing - still had too much and for too long - and that it was high time for us/them (?) to get something too... So he lost everything, and declared what remained as a gain, but that's a completely different topic.
I am not entirely sure what phenomenon this is. Some attribute it to human nature; they say that a human being is designed to always test the limits of how far they can go... Others claim that it has nothing to do with nature but is simply sheer impudence; the more you give in, the more they demand. So, if you give a finger to an impudent child, they will very quickly ask for the whole hand. The same applies to women, namely wives. And "recently," we see, also to men.
However, it will be neither just human nature nor just impudence... it will be about time and the finger. Namely, if you show the impudent person the right finger in time, they will never think of asking for the whole hand. Nor should we exclude the possibility that it is an emotional disorder about which psychologists would have something to say; it is not impossible that such behavior is caused by premature weaning, i.e., premature rejection from the breast; therefore, the problem is with the mother. But this problem is solved just as easily as the one with the finger, perhaps even easier, with a song; an old, nostalgic, emotional, love song about a dog and a mother.
Speaking of dogs... they say that all dogs tend to pretend to be the alpha until a wolf appears... then it turns out they are just mutts... But, there is no wolf (for us). Admittedly, there was one who shouted twice: I am a wolf, I am a wolf! and based on that, he got a third chance... But, enough barking...
The condition of the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina is inversely proportional to the condition of their indigenous representatives... Or, more clearly, the better they (the representatives) are, the worse it gets for us (the people). And it seems no one minds... I know, it's July, it's vacation time, one needs to rest to figure out how to repay loans barely taken out to see the sea... who will deal with the loans that MD and ŽC are taking out unsparingly and the aluminum falcons... We barely have time to deal with the deforestation of rainforests in the Amazon...
