New cold snap arriving, but without precipitation

(Patria) - The above-average warm period is ending. From almost spring-like conditions in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we are transitioning to almost winter-like conditions characterized by lower temperatures but without precipitation.

In the coming days, predominantly sunny and partly cloudy weather will prevail in Herzegovina, southwestern Bosnia, and mountainous areas. Low cloudiness and fog are likely in the basins and along river flows in central and northern Bosnia. Short sunny intervals are possible in the afternoon.

Minimum air temperatures will range mainly between -4°C and 1°C in Bosnia, and from 1°C to 5°C in Herzegovina. The highest daily temperatures will be between -1°C and 4°C in Bosnia, up to 7°C in Herzegovina.

Stable weather is also forecast for the last week of the month. A new cold snap is expected in the middle of next week, which will cause all-day sub-zero temperatures in Bosnia and northern Herzegovina. Towards the end of the month, morning temperatures below -12°C are possible in southwestern and central areas.

Morning temperatures will range mainly between -8°C and -3°C in Bosnia, up to 2°C in Herzegovina, with the highest daily temperatures between -5°C and -1°C in Bosnia, up to 4°C in Herzegovina, according to the forecast from the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.
