Plane from Stockholm arrives with 54 BiH citizens, quarantine at Bjelave

(Patria) - Director of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs Anis Ajdinović confirmed yesterday that the arrival of 54 citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Stockholm is expected today.

"According to the information we received, 54 citizens of BiH are coming from Stockholm. They currently reside in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. We have learned that they will arrive in BiH in the evening hours, so all preparations have been made. They will be accommodated in quarantine at the Student Center on Bjelave, where we have sufficient capacity. Of those 54 BiH citizens, seven or eight reside in the RS, so we are in contact with colleagues from the RS as well, and we are arranging where they will be accommodated. We have been in communication with all institutions throughout the day and we will be ready to welcome them," said Ajdinović.

The Government of Sarajevo Canton, however, adopted a Decision to designate quarantine in the area of Sarajevo Canton at the Bjelave Student Dormitory, in Pavilions II and IV.

As stated in this decision, the Budget of Sarajevo Canton will finance the costs of using the facility for quarantine, the costs of transporting persons from the airport to the facility, as well as the costs of securing the facility. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive the facility free of charge, but will bear the costs of food, accommodation, medical treatment, utility costs and possibly other urgent unforeseen costs.
