DOES ANYONE FEEL ASHAMED? While we celebrate the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Day, the state prosecutes its commanders and soldiers - Whose is the BiH Prosecutor's Office!?

While some pay tribute to those who defended the country, others, like Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić and his associates, are counting the accused. And not just any, but members of the Armed Forces of BiH (Army of RBiH and MUP of RBiH). At the same time, Serbia and Republika Srpska can be satisfied. Their cadres, members of the Army of RS, have remained beyond the reach of BiH justice for years. Untouchable.

Even today, as the Day of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina is being marked, insidious processes are underway in the BiH Prosecutor's Office, and satisfaction prevails.

Because those who defended this country are available to them, because they have no reserve and do not want to have one.

In the name of some kind of "justice", which increasingly resembles a political project, Kajganić and his ilk are prosecuting members of the only legal army of sovereign Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal is obvious, to equate the defenders with the aggressors. Classic revisionism, devastating, painful. The truth is to be erased.

It happens that on one day, entire platoons of members, for example, of the Fifth Corps, stand before the Court of BiH, accused of "alleged" war crimes. Cases that were never even on the infamous B list of the Hague Tribunal, let alone on the A list of priorities, are suddenly becoming the focus of the judiciary today.

Why? Because those on the A list are unavailable. And so the fabrication of cases begins.

From Atif Dudaković, through Ejup Ganić, to Ramiz Dreković. Woeful. Konjic. Jošanica. Dozens of cases. Hundreds of accused.

And from the Prosecutor's Office, with irony that offends common sense, we hear phrases: "War crimes must not go unpunished" and "justice will reach everyone, regardless of where they are".

If that's the case, let them show a single case where they brought to justice a suspect who fled to Serbia or Croatia. One.

They cannot.

On the contrary, even those who were within their reach are escaping them. Like Milomir Savčić, suspected of genocide in Srebrenica. Never clarified. Never prosecuted. And there are serious indications that he received information about his detention precisely from the BiH Prosecutor's Office, and that was enough for him to escape, with logistics from RS, towards Serbia.

And while such cases lie in drawers, in the Dobrovoljačka case, people who operated in Sarajevo in the spring of 1992 against those who defended the city are testifying. They openly say that they shot at Elektroprivreda BiH on May 2nd. And nothing happened to them.

The prosecutor does not react. Does not ask. Does not problematize. For him, they are "officers", "generals". Respected witnesses. And the indictment for Sarajevo? There is none. And there will be none, no matter how much the Prosecutor's Office announces "soon" through loyal media. That "soon" has stretched into years and years of waiting.

Because then they would have to admit the truth – that this city was defended.

And that, apparently, is a sin today.

Therefore, today, April 15th, on the Day of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the cheeks of those who defended this country should not be red. They have no reason to be. The cheeks of those who abandoned them are red. Those who allowed honorable men, defenders of the country, to stand in courtrooms and prove their innocence alone, without support, without protection. The cheeks of everyone who had a say in this country from Dayton to today are red, because the state today prosecutes those who defended and saved it the most. And that is devastating!

This is not justice. This is a disgrace. And a particular disgrace is that today, in the barracks, people are speaking who avoided the barracks when the country was being defended!
