Šteta: Production of 10 ISUZU buses that will drive the streets of Sarajevo completed, delivery begins next week

(Patria) - Production of 10 ISUZU buses that will drive the streets of Sarajevo has been completed.

Delivery of new buses, produced in Turkey, begins next week.

- Another important day for public transport in Sarajevo. After new trolleybuses, trams and minibuses, new buses are also arriving in Sarajevo. They will certainly change the quality of life and everyday life of our citizens.

We faced great challenges in bus traffic, which we successfully resolved, but with this procurement we will significantly improve bus traffic - said the Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, Adnan Šteta.

The new ISUZU buses are adapted for persons with disabilities, with a maximum passenger capacity of 96, including 29 seats.

The buses are Euro 6, and their color is yellow, like the color of the new trams, trolleybuses and minibuses, all new vehicles that drive the streets of Sarajevo.

- They were bought with the money of all citizens and may they be a source of pride for us - concluded Šteta.

We remind you, the contract for the procurement of 10 new buses was signed in December last year.
