Damage: Baščaršija connected to Hrasnica by tram line

(Patria) - Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton Adnan Šteta visited the tram line construction site in Ilidža today.

- After more than 60 years of waiting for the expansion of the tram line, with today's pouring of concrete at the new turning loop in Ilidža, we have experienced another historic day for public transport in Sarajevo Canton. Baščaršija has been connected to Hrasnica by a tram line - stated Šteta.

With the connection of the last rails at the new turning loop in Ilidža, which was realized in the afternoon hours, the tram line construction project is nearing its end.

- Thank you to all citizens of Sarajevo Canton, because we are realizing this project with the money of all citizens - Šteta said.

Various types of works are expected in the next period, and from the summer, as announced, the tram can be expected to run to Hrasnica, after the completion of works and all tests.
