(Patria) - For the first time in five years, Stephen Curry did not score at least one three-pointer in an NBA game.
He failed to do so in the Golden State Warriors' triumph last night on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers (118:114).
The player with the most three-pointers in NBA history played 31 minutes and scored only seven points.
He shot 2/12 from the field and finished the game without a three-pointer for the first time since November 8, 2018, and a game against Milwaukee.
- We can't rely on Steph to win games every night. It was a tough game for him, that's what the team is for, to feel when someone is not having a good game and for others to step up. Others stepped up and took responsibility - said Warriors coach Steve Kerr.
Curry had a streak of 268 games with at least one made three-pointer. In this game, he missed all eight of his three-point attempts, but had eight assists and still managed to help the team.
This season, he is averaging 28 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists, while shooting 41.1 percent from three-point range.
