Residents of Širokača: Premier Nikšić cannot visit and help us, but would go to California

(Patria) - Residents of the Local Community Širokača, who live in daily fear of landslides in this settlement, have issued a statement addressing Federal Premier Nermin Nikšić.

"Premier of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Nermin Nikšić, offered help to the American city of Los Angeles due to the tragedy and massive fires that struck it. Unfortunately, the same premier has forgotten that in the very heart of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we have been witnessing for days a cataclysm that could escalate at any second and endanger the lives of the residents of the Sarajevo settlement of Širokača.

Residents of the Local Community Širokača have been fighting a battle with a landslide for a long time. A landslide that threatens all of us. Premier Nikšić did not deign to provide support to citizens who are in his own backyard, but he did to friendly Los Angeles. I guess it goes without saying that we call Neko when needed, however Neko would gladly respond to California while the problem of the citizens of Širokača does not interest him," say the residents of Širokača.

They state that it is sad that the premier turns a blind eye, has not even visited the landslide, let alone offered a concrete solution.

"Residents are in constant fear for their property and lives, and the premier would offer help to California. Obviously, the lives of our people are unimportant to him. The Premier of the Federation is clearly forgetting or turning a blind eye to our problem. In this statement, we also call on the Premier to react and help us solve our problem, because we can only help the American fires with a prayer for rain, since we cannot even solve our own problems," the residents of Širokača conclude.
