SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Deputy in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska Draško Stanivuković said during today's protests in front of the judicial institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina that the protests in Sarajevo are useful also because they knock out the argument that someone wants to destroy the Republika Srpska.
Hundreds of citizens from all parts of BiH gathered today in front of the state Court, Prosecutor's Office and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH in Sarajevo, after the media published the involvement of the President of the HJPC Milan Tegeltija in a corruption scandal.
Businessman from Velika Kladuša Nermin Alešević recorded himself giving money to inspector of the Agency for Investigation and Protection of BiH (SIPA) Marko Pandža, while Pandža tells him in that recording that he will use that money to „shoe“ the President of the HJPC Tegeltija, in order to speed up the process being conducted before the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, which Alešević initiated against several politicians in the country.
„Now let them talk that we want to destroy the Federation“, said Stanivuković to the gathered journalists and citizens in Sarajevo.
„Neither one is true. The only truth is that we want to build both one and the other and this entire country, so that we can live normally. Our motive is construction, our motive is staying, our motive is for normal people to come who will lead this country into a better future“, said Stanivuković, adding that while the authorities are setting citizens against each other, they are simultaneously ruining the country and enriching themselves.
He said that the world changes through citizen protests, and therefore he welcomed the protests of citizens in Sarajevo as well as in Banja Luka, which were organized almost throughout the entire last year.
Today's protests in front of the judicial institutions of BiH were initiated by the Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić. The protests were also supported by members of the groups "Justice for David" and "Justice for Dženan", who demand that the judiciary find the murderers of those two young men.
