Cross at Zlatište demolished

This morning at 00:40, the duty police officer of the Pale police station received a report from members of the Support Unit East New Sarajevo who were patrolling the concrete cross at Zlatište, municipality of Old Town, stating that the cross was demolished by unknown persons, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

We remind you that the improvised cross at Zlatište was erected during the election campaign in September, and there have already been several attempts to demolish the cross so far.

This act has not been classified as a criminal offense because the cross was built or erected without proper permits, confirmed the Public Security Center East Sarajevo.

Namely, during the day, a person came forward who admitted to demolishing the cross. This is Mirza Hatić, who had previously been detained for attempting to demolish the improvised cross.
