Srna-Bajramović asks Muzur for names of commission members who allocated funds of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Member of the Social Democratic Party of BiH in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly Segmedina Srna-Bajramović at today's session addressed a question to the Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton regarding the allocation of funds through the Public Call for co-financing projects, events, and activities in the fields of tourism, culture, and sports in the area of Sarajevo Canton, the SDP announced.

"The Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton made a decision on the selection of beneficiaries for the allocation of non-repayable funds based on the conducted Public Call 4/2019 for the implementation of programs, projects, and similar activities significant for the development and promotion of tourism in Sarajevo Canton. The right to use the funds of the Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton was granted to 40 applicants," the question by Segmedina Srna-Bajramović states.

She adds that "dissatisfaction with this allocation of money was expressed by individuals who consider the decision, i.e., the criteria by which the oldest music festival and one of the more important international cultural events in BiH did not receive a single mark, to be questionable."

"Considering that this coalition majority has established standards of absolute transparency from the beginning, I want to believe that there is no reason not to publish all relevant information in order to completely decontaminate the public call of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board. Therefore, I would ask the director of the Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton, Nermin Muzur, to first provide me with the names of the commission members so that it does not remain in the public as an 'unnamed commission,' and the criteria by which the evaluation of candidate projects significant for the development and promotion of tourism in Sarajevo Canton was carried out, planned to be financed with a non-repayable amount of 700,960 KM," the question by representative Srna-Bajramović states.
