GOOD LUCK DRAGONS! BiH handball players seek path to new Euro tonight in Austria

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The match of the last, sixth round of Group 2 of the EURO qualifiers between the handball selections of Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be played tonight in Graz starting at 18:00 with a direct TV broadcast on BHT1.

BiH is currently second in the standings with four points, the same as third-placed Austria, and Ivica Obrvan's chosen players need one point to secure second place and qualify for the EURO.

In some scenarios, even a loss in Austria would suit our national team, but on the condition that Germany beats Estonia on their home turf and certain results in other groups align (the two best teams from each of the eight groups and the four best third-placed teams qualify for the EURO).

Head coach Ivica Obrvan stated before the duel with Austria that his players will give their all to remain undefeated in Graz.

"We will give our all to remain undefeated, possibly to win. We want to secure the second position, however, if it doesn't go according to our plan, the option that is normal in itself remains, which is the third position with an excellent goal difference. We have a lot of motivation to play a top-notch game. I hope for fair play, given that it is a decisive match for Austria. I hope we will be at the required level and make our fans in BiH happy," Obrvan emphasized.

Our selection won the first match between these two teams in Bugojno with a score of 27:21, and that match was the debut for head coach Ivica Obrvan.

The second match in our group between Germany and Estonia will be played starting at 18:00.
