More than 50 students from 11 high schools participated yesterday in the Regional Forum of the European Youth Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina (EYPBiH), held in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The main organizer of the forum in Sarajevo, Alema Pelešić, said that EYPBiH is the largest platform for youth in BiH, aiming to bring them closer to the ideas of Europe. She stated that at EYPBiH forums, young people deal with various topics, from politics to culture and economics.
At the EYPBiH forum, young people also learn about the basic principles of how Europe functions, strengthen their communication and dialogue skills, and gain new knowledge about BiH, which is a major shortcoming for young generations in the country.
The forum was previously held in Banja Luka, on March 31 it will be held in Mostar, and in early April in Tuzla, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
