Sports journalists bring joy to Jasmina from Travnik: Great humanitarian travels to Athens

Jasmina Fajkić from Travnik, who has been engaged in humanitarian work for over ten years, was delighted by sports journalists from Bosnia and Herzegovina who decided to send her to the qualifying match of the BiH national team against Greece in Athens, reports the Patria news agency.

This idea came from Jasmin Ligata, a journalist from Oslobođenje, who organized Jasmina's trip to Greece with the help of colleagues from other newsrooms and Centrotours.

- Jasmina deserves all the happiness in the world. She is a girl who, in just one year, through auctions of jerseys of famous athletes, collected 25,000 KM for the Travnik hospital. Jasmina has a big heart, huge and for everyone, but few have a heart for her. That is why we, sports journalists, decided to reward the Travnik girl with a big heart with a trip to Athens, because Jasmina had a great desire to cheer on our Dragons at an away game. We are convinced that her kindness, sincerity, and everything she does for others will find a way to the hearts of others and bring us luck against Greece, because if anyone has earned a good deed by helping, it is Jasmina, and on top of that - her love for people and for the national team is immense! We will continue to help Jasmina – Ligata emphasized.

Throughout all the years of humanitarian work, Jasmina has organized many campaigns, both for individuals and institutions. Among the largest campaigns, we should mention those for the pediatric department of the hospital and the Travnik Health Center, as well as for the oncology department of the hospital for lung diseases in Travnik.

Jasmina was awarded by the mayor of Travnik, and among other campaigns, Jasmina provided snacks for the entire school year for children from several elementary schools in the Travnik municipality area. She organized a joint youth iftar at the Old Town in Travnik, which was attended by about 600 people.
