The famous magazine "Sport Illustrated" in its latest issue brought a story about the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the success it achieved by qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil. Journalist Jonathan Wilson titled the text with two words "Long Live Bosnia", and already in the introduction, he recalls the suffering that BiH experienced during the Serbian aggression in the 90s, reports the Patria News Agency.
The text is illustrated with various photographs, from those from wartime Sarajevo to the spectacular celebration that happened after BiH qualified for the World Cup in Brazil.
The central figure Wilson writes about is Edin Džeko, a Manchester City footballer, who served as a true example of what BiH is. It is known that Džeko spent the entire war in besieged Sarajevo as a child, and now he is an idol to many children in BiH who dream of becoming the "new Džeko".
