APPOINTMENT How Isaković, through whom Munjić and Mušinović saved special forces guarding Gačanin, was rewarded

Before Nermin Nikšić was imposed as the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, three special forces officers of the Federal Police Administration lost their access to classified information. Adin Ćatić, Senad Kadić, and Emir Druškić were, in fact, part of a group of members of the FUP Special Unit who, in October 2016 in Sarajevo, guarded one of the biggest drug lords in the world - Edin Gačanin Tito.

However, with Nikšić coming to power, Vahidin Munjić, a police officer who, throughout that time, followed the instructions of the former FMUP Minister Aljoša Čampara, was installed as the acting director of FUP, concealing evidence of the involvement of FUP members with the drug cartel. Nikšić was imposed in April 2023. In August of the same year, FMUP and FUP officials initiated procedures to revoke the security clearances of the special forces officers who guarded Tito. Ervin Mušinović was at that time serving as an advisor to Ram Isak, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the FBiH, who succeeded Aljoša Čampara.

Ervin Mušinović, 12/08/2023, 14:45:31: "Send for Druškić, Ćatić, and Kadić to have their permits returned"
Vahidin Munjić, 12/08/2023, 14:45:57: "Ok"
Ervin Mušinović, 12/08/2023, 14:46:21: "Do you want me to talk to Munib and Darko from the Ministry of Security of BiH to see how it's going?"
Vahidin Munjić, 12/08/2023, 14:47:01: "Can do"
Ervin Mušinović, 12/08/2023, 14:53:21: "Have them bring you the file and the OSA report for Druškić, Ćatić, and Kadić, and I'll go to Munib with it".

Munib, whom Ervin Mušinović and Vahidin Munjić are talking about, is named Isaković. At that time, he held the position of an official in the Ministry of Security of BiH, responsible for security checks. It was precisely this Munib Isaković, through whom Ervin Mušinović was trying to remove security obstacles for the special forces officers who guarded Tito, that the Government of the Federation of BiH, led by Nermin Nikšić, appointed as the director of KPZ Sarajevo. Everything was, again, agreed upon by Vahidin Munjić and the head of Nermin Nikšić's cabinet, Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović.

Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović, 21/09/2023, 12:18:10: "And I'm pushing for this Isaković"
Vahidin Munjić, 21/09/2023, 12:38:53: "Ok, thanks"
Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović, 21/09/2023, 13:56:39: "Does Isaković Munib have preferential working status? I need that info for KPZ Sa"
Vahidin Munjić, 21/09/2023, 13:58:15: "No, he is a civil servant, head of the Department in the Sector for Protection of Classified Information of the BiH Ministry of Security"
Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović, 21/09/2023, 13:59:03: "And would he want it? I'm talking to the Minister of Justice. From Zenica, and for KPZ Sarajevo, he'd be coming there anyway?"
Vahidin Munjić, 21/09/2023, 14:01:19: "He has an apartment in Sarajevo, so that's not a problem"
Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović, 21/09/2023, 14:06:45: "Got it. Hopefully, the man will agree. Should we propose him, then?"
Vahidin Munjić, 21/09/2023, 14:35:04: "Definitely propose him".

And she did propose him. Seven days later, the Government of the Federation of BiH appointed Munib Isaković as the director of KPZ Sarajevo upon the proposal of the FBiH Minister of Justice, following prior agreement and a harmonized name with Nermin Nikšić's cabinet.

The decision on the appointment of Munib Isaković was signed by the Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić. Messages found on Vahidin Munjić's phone prove that Isaković's appointment was agreed upon with Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović, head of Nermin Nikšić's cabinet.

But let's get back to the special forces officers. The head of the FUP Special Unit, Mustafa Selmanović, sent a message to Vahidin Munjić on September 6, 2023, regarding one of the three special forces officers who, under Selmanović's order, guarded Edin Gačanin Tito.

"Please, leave Druškić for me, as I proposed. He has no contact with documents of a classified nature in our unit, and I need him for working with new members. He is by far the best special forces officer," wrote Mustafa Selmanović, who would also be arrested in the Black Tie operation a few months later.

The daughter of the head of the FUP Special Police, Mustafa Selmanović, appeared in court this week for the hearing to determine restrictive measures for Munjić, Mušinović, and Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović. Alena Begović appeared as the defense attorney for Vahidin Munjić. Incidentally, Selmanović, Mušinović, and Munjić were controlled by Aljoša Čampara for years. Here's how Čampara, in April 2024, a few days before the Black Tie operation, ordered Munjić what to do. Čampara was at that time only a cantonal representative, i.e., a delegate in the House of Peoples of the FBiH, and had no formal connection with FMUP or FUP.

Aljoša Čampara, 19/04/2024, 22:33:33: Before you go, we need to do the following:
1. As soon as you arrive, find the report on the investigation conducted by the Professional Standards Unit regarding this case, with all possible attachments.
2. Immediately call Ervin, who will, based on that, finalize the document we prepared.
3. Ervin will then print the response on your letterhead from his USB drive, which you will sign and seal, and someone capable will copy all the attachments, and Mirela or Ervin will check if all attachments are present.
4. You will then send that document with attachments to the prosecutor. Further:
1. Send a written request on Monday to the Professional Standards Unit and other organizational units to provide you with the act published by Avdo, stating the exact number. Request that, if they possess it, they provide you with a copy of the act signed by the then-manager Ensad Korman and with a seal. Because what they have provided you with now is a document that is not signed, not sealed, and was taken from the Istraga.ba portal because the JMBG is covered, just like Avdo's on Istraga. Give them a deadline of two days. So, by Wednesday. Mirela and Ervin can help you with everything.
2. Mujica will bring you the signed official note, which you then need to forward to UDT and Kajganić.
3. Check for us exactly which day Bešlija requested leave due to testifying so we know when he is going.

Brief identification - Mirela is Mirela Bubalo, then advisor to the BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković. Ervin is Ervin Mušinović, then advisor to the FBiH Minister of Internal Affairs Ram Isak. Mujica is Mustafa Selmanović, head of the FUP Special Police. Bešlija is FUP inspector Ibro Bešlija, who is one of the witnesses in the Black Tie case.
