(Patria) - Special envoy of US President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, is on his way to Russia, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt announced at a briefing last night, adding that Witkoff had spoken with the Ukrainian delegation in Florida the day before, TASS reported.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov recently told reporters that Russian President Vladimir Putin's meeting with Witkoff is scheduled for the afternoon of December 2.
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, reported that US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, would travel to Moscow on Monday "for further talks" on resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
