Special Forces from Three Cantons Demonstrated Readiness and Unity, Sending a Strong Message

(Patria) - A joint police exercise codenamed Unity 2025, involving members of the specialized support units of the ministries of internal affairs of Una-Sana Canton, Sarajevo Canton, and Canton 10, was held today in Bihać.

The exercise aimed to demonstrate operational readiness and efficiency in the joint actions of special police units, and the public was presented with the skills, training, and coordination of teams in high-risk situations.

After the successful completion of the exercise and the submission of a report to the Director of the Police Administration of the MUP of USK, Amel Kozlica, officials from the three cantonal ministries of internal affairs congratulated the participants on their high level of professionalism and demonstrated readiness.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of USK, Adnan Habibija, emphasized that this exercise sent a strong message to all who might threaten the security of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.



– You have shown professional readiness at the highest level. Every criminal, everyone who breaks the law and threatens the freedom and security of citizens – should be alarmed. Because this police force, these young men, their strength and determination, are the best of the best. They have sworn to protect the Constitution and laws of the Federation of BiH and to defend the rights and freedoms of citizens with all their might. From Bihać today, we sent images of police excellence, and every picture is worth more than a thousand words – Habibija stated.

The message of the exercise was further emphasized by the Prime Minister of USK, Nijaz Hušić, who said that the symbolism of the name UNITY is evident and strong.


– You have shown how powerful, strong, and united you are. Your readiness, training, teamwork, and timely action are the best proof of your professionalism and dedication to protecting citizens. We are proud of you. You are worthy successors to your predecessors who dedicated their lives to the calling of protectors. It is no wonder that those who do not respect the law fear you, and honest citizens know they can rely on you – stated Prime Minister Hušić.

The UNITY 2025 exercise represents an important step towards strengthening inter-cantonal cooperation in the field of security, and its successful completion once again confirms that the special police units of the Federation of BiH are ready to respond to all challenges in protecting public order and peace, stated the leaders of the ministries of internal affairs of the three cantons.
