Soreca on adoption of Reform Agenda: BiH qualifies for withdrawal of 976 million euros from Growth Plan

(Patria) - Today's developments are truly welcome for BiH, announced the Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Luigi Soreca on platform X, after the Council of Ministers adopted the Reform Agenda for the Growth Plan for our country.

"This important step confirms that the European path is a common framework within which political actors act for the benefit of all citizens in the country.

The European Commission will now analyze the Reform Agenda in order to verify its compliance with EU standards.

In case of a positive decision by the Commission and member states, BiH qualifies for the withdrawal of 976.6 million euros within the Growth Plan, in exchange for the implementation of reforms from the Reform Agenda, which represents a significant potential stimulus for investments, employment, and growth.

As Commissioner Marta Kos emphasized in her recent address to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the Growth Plan represents a unique offer that provides opportunities for the transformation of the country - for building roads, more favorable energy sources, and better and faster internet.
