Snow, landslides and fog, drive carefully

The road surface is mostly wet this morning, and drivers are warned of possible ice in mountainous areas, as well as on bridges and near tunnels.

- There is packed snow on the sections Livno – Kupres and Livno – Glamoč – Mrkonjić-Grad. Fog reduces visibility in valleys and along river courses. We highlight the Doboj – Tuzla - Bijeljina, Jajce - Travnik, Srebrenik - Orašje, and Ključ - Sanski Most - Prijedor road routes. We also draw attention to frequent landslides of earth or stones onto the road. Increased traffic is expected during the day towards ski resorts and winter resorts. We advise drivers to drive with maximum caution and remind them that possessing winter equipment is legally mandatory – BIHAMK announced.

Traffic is suspended due to works in the Jasen tunnel (Prozor - Jablanica). Passenger vehicles and smaller trucks are using the detour around the tunnel, while trucks over 7.5 tons (with the exception of buses) are being redirected to alternative routes Mostar - Široki Brijeg – Posušje – Tomislavgrad – Kupres - Bugojno and Mostar – Sarajevo – Busovača - Novi Travnik - Bugojno.

Works on the construction of a roundabout are underway on the main road Klašnice - Laktaši, due to which the traffic of passenger vehicles and buses is being rerouted via the bypass through Laktaši, while freight traffic is being redirected to the highway.

Traffic is slow, due to works, on the Stupari – Živinice - Banovići, Drvar - Bosansko Grahovo, Rogatica - Ustiprača, Blažuj - Kiseljak, and Šuica - Tomislavgrad road routes.

At border crossings, waiting times do not exceed 30 minutes.
