Strong BiH and US Partnership: Brigadier Adams Awarded Gold Plaque of the Ministry of Defense

(Patria) - BiH Minister of Defense Zukan Helez received the US Military Attaché to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brigadier Erik R. Adams, for a farewell visit today.

On this occasion, Helez, on behalf of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, expressed gratitude to Brigadier Adams on the occasion of the completion of his mandate, highlighting his professionalism, dedication, and vision, thanks to which concrete and long-term results were achieved that remain a lasting legacy in the development of BiH's defense capabilities.

As a token of recognition for his exceptional contribution to strengthening bilateral defense cooperation, as well as for supporting reforms and the development of BiH's defense system, Brigadier Adams was presented with the highest form of recognition from the Ministry of Defense - the Gold Plaque.



At the end of the meeting, Minister Helez personally thanked Brigadier Adams for his dedication, professionalism, and tireless commitment during his service in BiH.

- Farewells with friends are always the hardest. During your mandate, you have shown true dedication to strengthening the partnership between our countries. The United States of America is our most important foreign policy and strategic partner.

Your contribution to improving cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Armed Forces of the United States of America has been of exceptional importance, both in the field of defense and in capacity building and strengthening interoperability.

Your openness, professionalism, and willingness to cooperate have left a deep and lasting impression, further strengthening the already strong and fruitful cooperation of our institutions.

Thank you once again for everything, and we hope you will take fond memories from Bosnia and Herzegovina - concluded Helez.

Brigadier Adams thanked Minister Helez for this exceptionally significant recognition, emphasizing that it was a great honor for him to work on building close partnerships with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Furthermore, during the meeting, he stressed that the stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the priorities of the Government of the United States of America.
