The Presidency of the Democratic Front, at its session held on Thursday, gave full support to the cantonal committees in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the Central Bosnia Canton in negotiations on forming a government, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
At the session, it was unanimously concluded that DF deputies in the cantonal assemblies will not support a minority government, i.e., they will not support the election of an executive authority composed of SDA and HDZ, either in HNK or in SBK.
The Presidency also supported the decision of ministers from the DF in the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina not to vote for the temporary appointment of Dragan Lukač to the position of Director of the Federal Police Administration. The Presidency considers this decision controversial because it is contrary to the valid Law on Internal Affairs and the decision of the parliamentary Security Committee.
In addition, the Presidency expressed regret that this decision was made by brutally outvoting our ministers by the SDA-HDZ bloc, and once again wishes to point out the detrimental nature of introducing outvoting as a mechanism in the work of the Government.
Finally, the Presidency of the DF discussed the announcements of SNSD regarding the adoption of a resolution on an „independent and free RS“ and concluded that these are ridiculous attempts by that party and Milorad Dodik to divert attention from the economic collapse of the entity, for which that party and he personally are responsible.
