(Patria) - The new head coach of the Football Club Sarajevo should be appointed soon, and it is almost certain that it will be Slovenian expert Simon Rožman.
As SCsport learns, with him in a "package" to Koševo comes former Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player Senijad Ibričić, who will take on the role of sporting director. This tandem is currently engaged with the Slovenian first division club Domžale, with which they will terminate cooperation during today and then travel to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina to sign a contract with the bordo club.
Rožman (40) has led Celje, Domžale, Rijeka and Maribor during his nine-year coaching career.
Ibričić (37) took over the role of sporting director of Domžale last year, in whose jersey he also ended his rich playing career. He made 44 appearances (four goals) for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
Rožman should make his debut on the Sarajevo bench on Saturday, in a friendly match against Hajduk Split in neighbouring Croatia.
