Slobodan Krčmarević no longer coach of the Blues, Milomir Odović returns

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Serbian expert Slobodan Krčmarević is no longer the coach of Željezničar, officially confirmed at today's press conference of that Sarajevo team.

- Someone has to take responsibility for yesterday's match, for this defeat. I think the coach is always the most responsible, that's reason number one. Reason number two is my conclusion that we found ourselves in a great discrepancy between our desires and ambitions and what we have and possess. I attribute that to myself again, that I didn't handle some things in the best way, I mean the transfer window. The team should have been strengthened even more knowing what this league is like, that it's not easy at all, we have several very organized opponents against us. An expression of respect to my president and our fans who have justified demands from this team. I would be a hypocrite if I said that Željo is not a big club. When Real Madrid comes to this stadium, it is expected to win because it is a big enough club. I didn't have the slightest incident, there was a minor verbal conflict. Maybe my act will seem cowardly, but I think the president is an honest man. I haven't met a man who loves his club so much and it would be dishonest on my part to give any illusions. I wish all the best to this team, Željo will be my club alongside Partizan, said Krčmarević.

The fans are not satisfied with their team's performance in the current part of the new season and expressed their dissatisfaction after last night's match against Čelik in Zenica, which their club lost 1-0.

Krčmarević took over the Željezničar team at the beginning of June, but failed to meet the expectations of the club's management and fans.

The Serbian expert has so far led the team in five official matches, three European and two domestic, in which he recorded three wins and two losses.

The identical situation in Željezničar occurred last year, when Slavko Petrović was fired before the first round match of the domestic championship, and the team was taken over by Admir Adžem.

Milomir Odović, a favorite of the Sarajevo club's fans, returns to the helm of the Blues. Odović travels with the team to Cyprus tomorrow.

- Željo is my family and in the past period I was involved in the work of the Youth School, but of course I also followed the first team. I can't wait for tomorrow's training. We have no time for talk, very important matches for the Club await us - said Odović, who will address the public on Saturday before the derby against Zrinjski.
