(Patria) - Luka Babić, Alojz Vrbić, Marinko Marić, Franjo Jozić, Viktor Markanović and Ivo Mrkonjić are accused of crimes against Bosniak civilians detained in improvised prison facilities at Rade Kondić Elementary School, the elementary school in Perkovići, the Silos facility, and the Stables of Nova Trgovina in the Žepče area during 1993 and 1994.
They are charged with various forms of psychological and physical abuse and inhumane treatment, and the accused Martić is also charged with the rape of a Bosniak woman. A status conference is scheduled for Friday, April 25.
The prosecution will present its closing arguments on Tuesday, April 22, at the trial of Enes Jahić, who is charged with a crime in the Konjic area.
Jahić is accused of participating in the persecution of the Serb population from mid-May to the end of May 1992, as a member of the Municipal Territorial Defense Staff.
Next week, trials for crimes in Bijeljina, Prijedor, Zvornik, Donji Vakuf, Visoko, Sarajevo, Kotor-Varoš, Sokolac, Srebrenica, Goražde, Zenica, and Foča will continue, reports Detektor.
