(Patria) - After a brief stable and relatively warm period, local showers are expected in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday and Wednesday. More intense showers, accompanied by thunderstorms, are possible in the Posavina region, the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of FBiH announced.
"On Thursday, local showers are forecast in the central and northern parts of the country. In southern Herzegovina, mostly sunny but not entirely stable, as there will also be conditions for a brief shower in this area.
From Friday until the end of the week, more stable weather is expected. A brief shower is possible in the mountains. Wind will be mostly light to moderate, predominantly from the north, with strong bora gusts at times in the south of the country.
Minimum air temperatures from Sunday will range between 8°C and 13°C in Bosnia, and up to 15°C in southern Herzegovina. Maximum daily temperatures in Bosnia between 17°C and 23°C, and up to 26°C in the south of the country.
In the period from May 13 to 14, mostly sunny and stable weather will prevail. From May 15, an influx of new unstable air will cause lower air temperatures and precipitation, mainly in the form of showers.
Morning temperatures generally between 7°C and 12°C in Bosnia, and up to 15°C in the south of the country. Maximum daily temperatures in Bosnia from 14°C to 18°C, and in Herzegovina up to 22°C," the announcement stated.
