Slaven Kovačević receives death threats

(Patria) - Appellant before the European Court of Human Rights Slaven Kovačević received threats via social media from an individual named "Ivan Modrić" on social media, who is threatening him with physical liquidation, uttering a series of insults and various qualifications.

"Ivan Modrić" began his insults with a text message "Little shit, head to Potocari" along with which he provided a video clip of himself making threats to Kovačević's life, telling him how he would cut him up, stuff him, and display him next to his wild boar, pointing to a certain decorative rug on the floor.



Kovačević reported the threats to the competent police authority.

“Clearly, some are ready to defend this deviant and undemocratic political system by using physical force, which renders the High Representative's thesis that confirming the 'Kovačević' judgment could lead to tensions in the country, invalid, because it is now completely clear that such a deviant and undemocratic political system is the producer of constant tensions and conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is why I went before the European Court of Human Rights.

I believe that the competent police and judicial institutions will resolve this case as soon as possible,” Kovačević stated in a public address.
