(Patria) - Candidate for member of the BiH Presidency Slaven Kovačević commented on the Declaration of the Homeland Movement (Republic of Croatia) regarding ideas about changing the territorial organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Attempts to impose tutelage over Bosnia and Herzegovina, coming from certain political actors in Croatia, are not only unenforceable but also undermine stability and good neighborly relations.
All ideas and proposals that are not in line with European democratic values and standards directly undermine the perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina to become a member of the European Union - said Kovačević.
Furthermore, he added, fascist ideas based on apartheid and ethnic ghettoization should be strongly rejected and condemned.
- Especially unacceptable are any threats and blackmail aimed at creating mono-ethnic territories in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which the International Criminal Court in The Hague earlier identified as one of the goals of the joint criminal enterprise.
Decisions on the internal organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be made in Zagreb or Belgrade, but exclusively in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I warmly recommend to officials from the Homeland Movement to learn democracy, at the foundation of which was and remains the citizen as the bearer of sovereignty of their country - concluded Kovačević.
