Assembly assesses successful work of the Association of Detainees of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The regular annual reporting session of the Assembly of the Association of Detainees in Bosnia and Herzegovina, held in Hadžići on Saturday, assessed that 2014 was a very successful year for the Association of Detainees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association announced.

The Assembly also adopted the proposed Work Plan and Financial Plan for 2015, Patria reports.

According to data from the Association of Detainees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the aggression from 1992 to 1995, there were 657 camps on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the largest number in the territory under the control of the army and police of the Republika Srpska, through which a total of about 200,000 prisoners passed.

About 30,000 of them were killed or are still listed as missing. The head of the Association of Detainees of Bosnia and Herzegovina is Jasmin Mešković.
