
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Shareholders' Assembly of Aluminija accepted the offer of the Chinese-Israeli Abraham Group for the lease of the facilities of this Mostar-based company at today's extraordinary session.
The restart of production will take place in stages, and it is planned to start with the foundry, where about 200 workers should return to work.
"We have completed the first third of the job, and I believe everyone will be happy in the end when we reach the final third, where production should resume. I hope it will be as soon as possible," said Zdenko Klepić, President of the Supervisory Board of Aluminija, after the session.
The Abraham Group's offer was also supported by the Government of the Federation of BiH at the Shareholders' Assembly, whose authorized representative, Stipo Buljan, expressed hope that all parties will respect the agreement reached and that production will resume as soon as possible.
"I hope that both sides will respect what has been signed.
