RS Government Session in Srebrenica on the Same Day as the UN General Assembly Decides on the Resolution

(Patria) - The leader of the smaller BiH entity, Milorad Dodik, announced that a session of the Government and leadership of the RS will be held in Srebrenica on Thursday, 23 May, at which conclusions will be adopted.

On the same day, the UN General Assembly in New York will decide on the proposed Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica, initiated by Germany and Rwanda.

In addition to members of the Government, the session is expected to be attended by Dodik, as well as ministers in the Council of Ministers of BiH from the RS, and mayors and municipal heads of local communities from the areas of Birča and Podrinje.

RS officials will lay flowers and wreaths at the Serbian cemetery in Bratunac, and will request from the Memorial Center in Potočari to be allowed to lay a wreath there as well.

- This is not a provocation, but an attitude towards the victims. We do not accept that there was a genocide, and the question arises as to how an individual could commit it.

Scientific authorities claim that it was not genocide, and we cannot ignore Israeli experts in this regard - said Dodik in Banja Luka.
