Session of the FBiH Government: Draft laws and personnel decisions before ministers

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, at today's 39th session which began in Sarajevo, and which, authorized by FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of FBiH Jelka Milićević, consider the Draft law on amendments to the Law on Leasing and the Draft law on voluntary pension funds. The principles on which these pension funds are based are voluntariness and equality of membership, distribution of investment risk, transparency of operations, and accumulation and investment of funds, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Improving the quality of the text in relation to increasingly widespread socially dangerous behaviors is the main reason why the FBiH Government will today also consider the Draft law on amendments to the Criminal Code of FBiH.

Also, the FBiH Government will declare itself on the Draft law on amendments to the Law on Suppression of Corruption and Organized Crime in the Federation of BiH, which, among other things, more precisely defines the procedure of judges in terms of confirming or rejecting an indictment proposal. Also, it is proposed that the deadline for the Law to enter into force be moved from July 23, 2014 to July 1, 2017, because all material, technical and infrastructural capacities for the proper application of the Law have not yet been secured.

Reducing undeclared work, strengthening discipline in the area of contributions and filing reports in the Unique System of Registration, Control and Collection of Contributions, are the main reasons why the FBiH Government decided to include on the agenda the Draft law on amendments to the Law on the Unique System of Registration, Control and Collection of Contributions.

The agenda includes consideration of several regulations whose common goal is to create conditions for more efficient organization and work of the civil service in the Federation of BiH, and their harmonization with the Law on amendments to the Law on Civil Service in FBiH.

The Government of the Federation of BiH will today consider three decisions related to transfers from the Federal Ministry for Veterans and Disabled Persons of the Defense-Liberation War for the past year, which are harmonized with the Rebalance of the FBiH Budget for 2015.

At today's session, the Work Program of the FBiH Government for 2016 will be considered, which will be submitted to the Parliament of FBiH for consideration, as well as the work plans and programs of several federal institutions for this year.

Members of the Government will also declare themselves on several proposed decisions and solutions in the domain of personnel policy.
