House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament session, representatives to also address Nikšić and Munjidž correspondence and pressure on media

(Patria) - A regular session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH will be held today starting at 10 AM.

Ten items are on the agenda, and before the agenda itself, representatives have an hour for representative questions and initiatives. Given the events in FBiH, the correspondence published between the federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and the acting director of FUP, for which the opposition requested an urgent session, representative questions today could also go in that direction. Also, pressure has begun on the media to stop publishing the content of the correspondence, and Hayat Television has also come under attack.

On the agenda is the Bill on the Protection of the Right to a Fair Trial within a Reasonable Time in the Federation of BiH, as well as the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Foster Parents in the Federation of BiH.

Representatives will consider the Strategy for Improving the Rights and Position of Persons with Disabilities in the Federation of BiH 2025-2030, as well as the Strategy for Addiction Prevention in the Federation of BiH 2025-2035.

One of the agenda items is the Statute of Radio-Television of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Representatives will also consider the Report on the Implementation of the Strategy for Prevention and Combating Domestic Violence 2024-2027 during 2024.

And on the agenda is the Proposal of the decision on accepting additional borrowing based on the Amended and Restated Loan Agreement of September 12, 2018, between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the implementation of the Corridor Vc Project - Section 3 section Poprikuše - Nemila, as well as the Proposal of the decision on accepting borrowing under the loan agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the just transition project in selected coal-rich regions in BiH.

Also on the agenda are the Report on the Work of the Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities of the Federation of BiH for 2023 and the Report on the Work of the Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities of the Federation of BiH for 2024.

The last item is elections and appointments, and the Supervisory Board of the Privatization Agency of FBiH should be elected.
