SDP Presidency Session in Jablanica

JABLANICA, (Patria) - The Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of BiH is holding a session of that body in Jablanica, and a session of the Main Board will be held next week.

SDP President Nermin Nikšić told the media that the Main Board, of which he is not a member, will make a decision on SDP members who are participating in the formation of the Social Democratic Movement. Among the 40-odd members who gathered in Sarajevo on May 9, there were several SDP members.

"As far as we are concerned, this is a new political entity. They are pursuing their own policy in relation to the SDP. I do not make the decision alone; that is a matter for the Main Board," Nikšić said.

It is certain that the Main Board will decide to expel from the party those members who are participating in the formation of the SDP, such as Ivo Komšić, Zlatko Lagumdžija, and Miro Lazović.

Incidentally, on May 26, elections for the president of the SDP will be held on the principle of one member, one vote, and SDP members will choose between Nermin Nikšić, Svetozar Pudarić, and Edin Delić.
