Members of the Presidency of the Party of Democratic Action are in Banja Luka today. They will hold a session to discuss the situation and position of Bosniaks in this entity, and a press conference is scheduled for 4:00 PM, reports the Patria news agency.
SDA President Bakir Izetbegović visited the Ferhadija mosque in Banja Luka and said he came in the role of party president to appeal to the RS authorities to stop discrimination against Bosniaks in this entity. He met with the Mufti of Banja Luka, Osman ef. Kozlić.
Recently, there have been several attacks on Bosniak returnees, and the RS Ministry of Interior is working on these cases. The SDA will adopt a proposal of measures for the protection of returnees in the RS at the session.
Incidentally, two separate sessions of the SNSD and SDA are being held in the same building of the NSRS in Banja Luka. Izetbegović and the SDA Presidency arrived at the NSRS building under heavy escort, N1 reports.
