(Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national sitting volleyball team has advanced to the semi-finals of the European Championship being held in Italy.
The Dragons defeated the Serbian volleyball team 3-0 in sets in today's quarter-final match.
The Golden Lilies won the first set 25:16, the second 25:12, and the third 25:18.
BiH secured a place among the four best teams of the Old Continent without losing a single set.
For the players selected by Ifet Mahmutović, this is their sixth victory at the tournament. Earlier, the BiH volleyball players defeated Lithuania (3:0), Poland (3:0), Slovenia (3:0), Croatia (3:0) and Italy (3:0), reports Faktor.ba.
The Golden Lilies will play in the semi-finals tomorrow at 6:00 PM against the winner of the Croatia - Ukraine match. The other quarter-finals are Poland - Latvia and Italy - Germany.
The final is on Sunday at 5:30 PM. The BiH national team is defending the European champion title.
