System at border crossings restored

(Patria) - Due to technical difficulties and a temporary system failure, border crossings of Bosnia and Herzegovina with Serbia, Montenegro, and Croatia suspended traffic for several hours, while long queues formed at the exit from the country.

The Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported that there was a temporary failure of the information system today, which led to the suspension of traffic at all border crossings with Serbia, Montenegro, and Croatia. The system stopped functioning at 12:10 PM, and technical services worked intensively to fix the malfunction.

The biggest delays were recorded at the Velika Kladuša and Gradina border crossings, where long queues of vehicles formed at the exit from BiH. At other crossings, delays for passenger vehicles did not exceed 30 minutes.

The system was restored around 2:50 PM, and checks at all border crossings are now proceeding normally, confirmed N1 from the operational center of the Border Police.
