Sirovica receives recognition from the Union of Veterans of BiH for contribution to the work of the veterans' organisation

(Patria) - The President of the Unified Organisation of Fighters in Bosnia and Herzegovina "Union of Veterans" presented the Minister for Veterans' Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj
Canton, Adnan Sirovica, with a special certificate of appreciation for his contribution to the work of this
organisation.

The regular reporting assembly of the "Union of Veterans" was held today at the Hotel Saraj in Sarajevo, where the results from the previous year and plans for the upcoming period were presented.

Minister Adnan Sirovica said that this means a lot to him personally, given
that he is the only minister who has received recognition from the JOB in BiH "Union of Veterans".

- This recognition is proof that we are on the right path when it comes to cherishing the achievements of the defensive-liberation war. Members of the defender population are heroes of the defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we should treat all fighters with such reverence, who invested a great deal so that our state today survives and exists as sovereign and independent – stated Sirovica.

The minister said that he does not perceive this recognition as a personal award, but as an award to all employees of the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of ZDC, who work dedicatedly every day, and "their effort stands behind every result we achieve".

- The commitment of the ZDC Government is clear – the veteran population remains our priority. The budget of the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs will be increased again next year, which unequivocally shows the Government's attitude towards the defender population – emphasised Minister Adnan Sirovica.
