(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency are today conducting (05.08.2024) the operational action "Incitat" within which they are searching business premises, residential buildings, and movable property at 12 locations in the Canton Sarajevo area. Among other things, searches of the premises of the Municipality of Trnovo and the legal entity "LOK-PIL" doo Sarajevo are underway.
The mentioned activities are being carried out due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that criminal offenses of "Criminal Association", "Abuse of Office or Authority", and "Money Laundering" prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been committed.
Four individuals are under the control of SIPA police officers as part of this operational action, while one person is still being sought.
The searches are being conducted by order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Canton Sarajevo, in cooperation with police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo, it was announced.
Incidentally, this action also has a specific name, and for those who do not know, Incitatus (Latin: Incitatus) was the favorite horse of the Roman Emperor Caligula, known for Caligula having him appointed as a senator.
