Series of earthquakes hit Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale hit Rostovo near Bugojno last night, 20 minutes before midnight.

The intensity in the hypocenter was V, reported the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH.



Just a minute earlier, the same region was hit by an earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale.

According to ESCM information, the epicenter of the earthquake was 7 kilometers northeast of Bugojno.

It was felt in Vitez, Travnik, Gornji Vakuf, Prozor.

Citizens report that the earthquake lasted 4 to 5 seconds and that the sound was very disturbing.

This morning at 2 AM, the ground shook again in Central Bosnia.
