Selimović: I did not report Zubac

Himzo Selimović, acting director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, attended today's session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with the director of the Intelligence-Security Agency Almir Džuvo. They came at the invitation of the Speaker of the House Milorad Živković (SNSD). According to our reporter, the two of them left the session.

When asked by journalists whether he had filed a report with the BiH Prosecutor's Office against Goran Zubac, director of SIPA, Selimović denied it, stating that he had not filed any report against anyone.
He further stated that he had asked Zubac to act at the moment when the situation escalated on February 7th and when the Presidency of BiH and the buildings of the KS Government and Centar Municipality were set on fire.

- During the most extreme actions of individuals and groups, I requested assistance when people's lives were endangered and when buildings were set on fire with Molotov cocktails - said Selimović, declining to repeat to a Patria reporter what response he received from Zubac.
- I have already said that and I would not like to repeat it - said Selimović

He also noted that he was in contact with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, which was in contact with FUP (Federal Police Administration) all the time.

- They have an agreement on joint action in such cases. The jurisdiction for public gatherings, public order and peace lies with the cantonal police, and you saw that they were engaged to their full capacity - added Selimović.
