Coach Punished for Match with Greece: FIFA Suspends Mehmed Baždarević

The World Football Federation (FIFA) has punished the coach of the BiH national team, Mehmed Baždarević, with a ban from leading the Dragons for two matches, writes Patria.

The penalty followed unsportsmanlike conduct during the match Greece - BiH on November 13.

Baždarević will serve the first match of his suspension in the duel against Gibraltar. In the match against Greece, he will be on the bench because his second match was decided to be conditional. If he repeats similar incidents for which he was suspended within the next year, he could be punished again.

In addition to the suspension, Baždarević must pay a fine of 5,000 Swiss francs and 1,000 francs in costs for the proceedings against him.
