Sejda Bešlić found eternal peace beside her Halid

(Patria) - The funeral and burial of Sejda Bešlić, wife of legendary Bosnian singer Halid Bešlić, took place today at the Bare City Cemetery in Sarajevo.

Numerous well-known figures bid farewell to Sejda on her final journey, including Dino Merlin, Fahrudin Pecikoza, Nazif Gljiva, Mirko Šenkovski Geronimo, Husref Musemić and Mehmed Janjoš.

Also present were entertainment managers Nedim Srnja and Damir Ramljak Tigar, Osman Hadžić, Đemila Talić Ganriel with her husband Chris, Slađana Mandić, Osman Džiho, Armin Šaković, Neno Murić, Nedim Babović, Nihad Alibegović...

For the late Sejda, who was buried today next to her beloved Halid, a tevhid was recited at the Ferhadija mosque.

She is survived by her son Edin Dino Bešlić, daughter-in-law Mahira, grandchildren Lamija and Belmin-Kan, brother Azem, sister-in-law Fatima, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Sejda Bešlić passed away after a long illness and eight months after the death of her husband Halid, with whom she spent nearly half a century in marriage.

Their long-standing love story was often highlighted as an example of devotion, mutual respect and family stability.
