Nermin Nikšić's Chief of Staff Violated Prohibition Measures. Numerous Evidence of Criminal Activity Found on Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović's Laptop

(Patria) - The Special Department of the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Corruption, Organized and International Crime partially granted the POSKOK's motion to extend the prohibition measures for Vahidin Munjić, Muhamed Ohranović, Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović, and Ervin Mušinović, who are suspected in the "Spengavanje" case for abuse of official position. The Court determined that Huseinović-Ajanović violated previous prohibition measures.

The Court concluded that the motion for extending prohibition measures shows that the prosecution is in the process of expert examination of several laptops used by the suspect Huseinović-Ajanović, as well as witnesses, and that original material evidence related to the criminal proceedings was found with the suspect, writes Istraga.ba

One of the witnesses in the case, Sanela Čičič, an employee in the Office of FBiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, stated that she remembers that sometime after the Court imposed prohibition measures for Huseinović Ajanović, Melina Špilja, a friend of Huseinović Ajanović, called her and told her that Huseinović Ajanović had asked her to review the internal acts of the FBiH Prime Minister's Office in preparation for an upcoming audit, due to the fact that this witness possesses a Certificate of Internal Auditor for the Public Sector. She replied to Špilja that she would agree on the condition that the Prime Minister authorizes her for specific actions. Špilja then told her to prepare an authorization from the Prime Minister for signature, which she did, however, that authorization was never signed by the Prime Minister.

It was determined that circumstances still exist that indicate the justification for the duration of the prohibition measures.

The suspect Huseinović-Ajanović, former chief of staff to FBiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, is prohibited from undertaking certain business activities or official duties and is banned from performing any official function within the FBiH Government.

The suspect Mušinović, former director of the Police Academy of the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs (FMUP), had his prohibition from undertaking certain business activities or official duties extended, and is banned from performing any official function within the Federal Police Administration and the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs of FBiH.

The prohibition measures for the suspects Munjić, former director of the Federal Police Administration (FUP), and Ohranović, former FUP inspector, and Mušinović have been extended to prohibit them from visiting and approaching the official premises of the FUP and FMUP, and Huseinović-Ajanović from the official premises of the FBiH Government.

Prohibition measures have been extended for all suspects to prevent them from meeting each other and from meeting with suspect Mirela Bubalo, as well as other individuals, Nermin Nikšić, Refik Begić, Ram Isak, Amina Imamović, Almedin Šaćerović, Alma Čengić, Sead Šarić, Almin Hopovac, and Safet Trakić.
