Divisions are deepening within the Cantonal Board of SDA, led by Denis Zvizdić, one of the closest associates of Bakir Izetbegović, the party's deputy leader, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
Seven out of ten SDA deputies in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton are against the policies pursued by Zvizdić, particularly concerning personnel solutions.
"The Magnificent Seven," as they have been nicknamed in the Cantonal Board, proposed during negotiations with coalition partner Democratic Front that Kemo Ademović, who served as the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly in the previous term, should hold the position of Speaker of the KS Assembly in the next term.
However, as Ademović is one of "The Magnificent Seven," Zvizdić and his circle are opposing his appointment.
Kemo Ademović was born in Srebrenica. He was the commander of Sarajevo special forces during the most difficult times of the war.
